Humans can’t look at Jesus in His glorified state without falling over as if dead. Revelation tells us that when John, Jesus’ closest earthly friend, saw Jesus in His glory, John was petrified.

“And he [Jesus] had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: And his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I [Jonh] saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.” -Revelation 1:16-17

Humans need resurrected—glorified—eyes if we’re going to gaze upon the glory of Jesus and live. This is why Jesus must resurrect our bodies at His coming. When Jesus resurrects His Christians and catches us up into the clouds to be with Him, we will be able to behold Him because we will have brand new eyes. We will stand before our glorified King with our brand new, glorified, bodies. Praise God!!!

How to Receive Jesus—Right Now!

Admit there’s nothing you can to forgive your own sins, that you need Jesus to save your soul, and believe. Believe that Jesus took all your sins upon Himself when He died on the cross. That’s all you have to do. Just believe that God loved you so much He sent His Son, Jesus, to Earth to die for your sins on the cross. Jesus was perfect, yet He took our sins. He bore our pain. He suffered Hell on the cross so that whoever believes in Him doesn’t have to suffer Hell for eternity. God raised Jesus to life three days later.

When you trust that Jesus is your Savior, God gives you a new heart. You’re born again on the inside, and the Holy Spirit seals you for the day of resurrection, the day on which you will receive a new and immortal body. You’re a new creation in Christ, inside out—body and soul.

As a new creation, you get to live with God for eternity. God is perfect and immortal, and He loves you so much that He made a way for you to become perfect and immortal too. Jesus is the Way. Jesus is the only Way! Trust in Jesus today!

I Believe Jesus is Savior. Now what?

Turn away from all sin, anger, unforgiveness, selfishness, pride, greed, the empty pleasures of this life, false religions, and self-made beliefs. Stop trusting in the systems of this world for your security and happiness. Trust God alone.

Talk to God continually in prayer.

Read the Bible daily.

Worship God with other believers.

Try joining a local church, and ask about baptism.

Go and tell others about Jesus.

Wait eagerly for Jesus’ appearing, at which time all who are in Christ will receive resurrected bodies.

God is so Holy that no human can stand before Him as we are. Our souls are full of sin and our bodies are full of weakness and death. Jesus took our sins when He died on the cross. When you believe in Him, God credits Jesus’ righteousness to you, and your soul is clean.

But there’s still the problem of our bodies. If we’re going to live with a perfect and immortal God on the New Earth, we need perfect and immortal bodies. No amount of working out or eating right will ever make any of us fit enough to live with God. We can’t resurrect ourselves, make ourselves perfect, or make our bodies immortal. God Himself would have to raise us from the dead and give us eternal bodies. He promises to do just that for those who believe in Jesus. On the day of the resurrection of the true church, followers of Messiah will receive brand new bodies, in the twinkling of an eye.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
–1 Corinthians 15:51-55

Claim your new body today! It’s free. Jesus already paid the price when He died on the cross. His resurrection is proof that our resurrection is coming next. Jesus was the first human (the God-man) who God raised into an immortal body, and you can be raised too. All you have to is believe. Jesus is Savior. He is the Messiah, the Son of God. You can believe right now, right where you are. Just believe that Jesus is the only God who came down to earth in a human body. He died for your sins on the cross, and He was raised to life so that you could be raised too!

Believe, receive the Holy Spirit, and look forward to getting a brand new body on the day of our resurrection. It’s that simple.
